Information Publication Scheme (IPS)
The FOI Act establishes an Information Publication Scheme (IPS) for Australian Government agencies subject to the Act. The IPS commenced on 1 May 2011 and requires agencies to publish a broad range of information on their website.
Agencies are also required to publish a plan that explains how they intend to implement and administer the IPS (an agency plan).
From 1 May 2011, Defence Housing Australia (DHA) is required to provide public access to documents released in accordance with the FOI Act.
Such documents can be accessed at the FOI Disclosure Log.
