Defence Housing constructions near complete in Lyons, Darwin
As reported on this website on 9 October, the construction of 50 new Defence housing properties is well underway in the suburb of Lyons in Darwin.
A total of 185 new Defence houses will be built in Lyons by June 2011 under the Nation Building – Economic Stimulus Plan.
The latest time-lapse photography shows one of the first 50 new houses nearing completion. Construction on these houses began in June, with most now complete and handed over to Defence personnel.
