Cyclone Carlos downgraded to tropical low
Cyclone Carlos, the second cyclone to hit Australia this month, has been downgraded to a tropical low as of Thursday morning. The cyclone, which passed over Darwin on Wednesday night, delivered record rainfall for the Top End but little damage to Darwin and surrounding areas. Some areas have experienced localised flooding and fallen trees, but damage to property, at this stage, has been minimal.

Power and Water have asked residents NOT to trim fallen trees near power lines. Please call 1800 245 092 to get help.
