DHA's online support for ADF Members
It's that time of year when many Australian Defence Force members will receive new posting orders. DHA's online relocation service helps Defence members and their families to start the move to their new location.
DHA's Online Services allows ADF members to quickly and easily submit their Application for Relocation documentation. The information provided allows DHA to organise any travel, make arrangements for payment of allowances, book temporary accommodation and liaise with Toll Transitions for the removal of your furniture and personal effects to your new location.
Toll Transitions is responsible for organising the relocation of furniture and effects and the freighting of any vehicles. ADF members can enter their inventory online at www.tolltransitions.com.au/defence or return the form to DHA who will send the completed inventory to Toll Transitions.
For members with dependants, HomeFind can assist with selecting a new home. When DHA receives the member's completed AFR, access (via a PIN) to HomeFind will be made available. HomeFind enables members and their families to view houses that are within their housing entitlement in the new posting location. Details about the property may include photos; floor plans; maps of the area, detailing location of schools, hospitals and other facilities; full property description and local region information (e.g. climate).
These online systems mean Defence members can organise their move and select their new home quickly and easily at a time that suits them.
The DHA national customer service line - 139 DHA (139 342) is available for to assist ADF members through this process.
