Defence Housing Australia Becomes a "Friend of Peacekeeping"
DHA is very pleased to support the Australian Peacekeeping Memorial Project (APMP) to a value of $10,000. This donation has qualified DHA to be given the status of APMP "Friend of Peacekeeping".
The Chairman APMP recently presented a Certificate of Appreciation to DHA Managing Director, Mr Michael Del Gigante. During the presentation Mr Del Gigante paid tribute to the wonderful work that continues to be done by Australian Peacekeepers assisting stability and reconstruction in many regions around the world. He was proud that DHA could assist in providing excellence in housing for ADF members, many of whom had been deployed on overseas peace operations. He noted that DHA strongly supports their service being appropriately recognised through the APMP.
