Need flood assistance?

As the floods continue to affect Queensland residents, the following information may provide some assistance.

Defence families living in affected areas:
For emergency support or evacuation phone the State Emergency Service on 132 500.

If you have experienced damage to your DHA home, please contact us on 139 342, so that we can take immediate steps to assist you.
If you need to evacuate your property, you should go to an evacuation centre.

Once the situation stabilises we will, in consultation with Toll Transitions, look to assess the need for temporary accommodation for members and their families if your property has sustained extensive damage. This will be arranged via Toll.

Once the extent of the damage is known we will work towards arranging a more permanent housing solution with affected Defence members.

Concerned family and friends:
If you are concerned about family or friends living in the flood affected areas you can phone the flood information hotline on 1300 993 191.

DHA property investors:
We understand you will be concerned about properties located in the flood affected areas of Queensland. At this time, our main priority is to ensure the safety and security of Defence families and our staff.

We are also working to identify properties that have been or may be affected by the floods. As access to some locations is restricted, it may be some time until full information is available to us.

Once we are informed that your property is affected, you will be contacted with details of the situation and how your case will be managed.

Our staff will work with you and your insurance provider to ensure necessary repairs are carried out in a timely manner.

Due to limited resources, we request that routine property enquiries and requests are limited at this time. Please call 139 DHA (139 342) for all other leasing related matters.

Your patience and cooperation during this time is appreciated.
