DHA weathers the storm

As the cleanup begins in North Queensland following Cyclone Yasi, DHA is thankful that all our staff and tenants are safe. While there was substantial damage to some properties located in Tully and Mission Beach, on the whole Defence housing weathered the storm remarkably well. In Cairns and Townsville the majority of damage was caused by fallen trees and to fencing. We are working with our contractors to repair fences and clear away the debris as quickly as possible. If you are a Defence member and you haven't yet reported any damage caused by the cyclone, please phone our maintenance staff on 139 342.
