Seaward Village Upgrade Program
A program is underway at Seaward Village, Perth to upgrade and refurbish 153 homes, with 21 already completed.
The upgrades to individual properties will vary, and the scopes of works have been considered separately for each property. Upgrades may include:
- security screens
- pergolas/patios
- refurbishment of kitchens, bathrooms and laundries
- cupboard and wardrobe replacement
- tiled floorings in living areas
- internal and external paint, and
- landscaping.
Work on stage one, which includes 84 houses, commenced in early 2010, with completion expected in 2013. Stage two includes 69 houses, and timings for the program are still being confirmed.

The works are subject to vacancy, and DHA will work with residents to minimise disruption caused by the program. DHA will assist residents to find another suitable property and cover the cost of removal should they be required to relocate. We will also work with each household to negotiate the best times for relocating.
